Just started a 10 week progression on trap bar deadlift. Starts with 6 sets of 8 reps and works up to 10 sets of 10 reps in the 10th week. Only doing deadlift once a week during the progression.
Will be doing the rest of my normal exercises along with it but I think it will be good for me. Been doing trap bar deadlift for a few weeks now and love it.

From what I've always been taught, that picture is definitly not a squat. His knees are way too over his feet. I got 4 free PT appointments when I joined my gym (and if I used them all up and went to the gym 39 times in my first 90 days, I got $200 in store credit) and we actually worked a lot at this and we ended up just doing alternative excercises

Also trap bar imo is better for the average person.
I don't agree with having certain things for beginners/average lifters. I think learning the correct way and teaching form is the best thing they could do. It corrects posture lifting correctly and heavy.

That looks to be high bar style (close to front squats in form).

well I would agree but most people are not going to take the time to learn correct form. The trap bar takes a lot of that risk away and is much easier for most people to learn.
I perfer barbell conventional myself.

I just don't like that the trap bar is pretty much a squat in the hands. Lose a lot of back involvement.
