I used to buy the same bulk supplements bag. Switched to creapure about a year ago and haven’t looked back.

Started a "loading phase" last week (I know... I know... I was just impatient and ready for GAINZ).

Lifted yesteday. Probably complete placebo effect, but I had the confidence to go 20 lbs. heavier on my deadlift working weight than I have since my early 40s (I turn 50 next week). Same thing on my incline bench barbell weight. Did my RPM/spin class this morning. Once again, probably placebo... but I found myself sort of enjoying pushing a heavier load on "climbs" and embracing the burn in my legs rather than shying away from it.

I think what I'm experiencing right now is like 90% just in my head.. but it's working, regardless.

A little easier on the gut. I didn’t have a ton of issues on regular mono before, but I’d say I noticed a small difference there. I’m pretty close to being in the best shape of my life right now, but I doubt that’s all attributable simply to switching to creapure. I’m probably not the best source because I’m generally very fit/strong and had lost a bunch of weight/strength from a surgery. I made the switch to creapure a little after the surgery so the vast majority is just me getting back in shape. That said, the last time I was in this good of shape I was 28 and I feel better now than I did then despite having a better diet back then. So, maybe it’s the creapure, but I really can’t be 100% sure.

You can get a full list of products from creapure’s manufacturer site, but I bought Bare Performance Nutrition. I don’t think it really matters what kind you buy as long as it’s one of the one’s listed on the manufacturer’s website.

Creatine is just eating my lunch with the fluid retention. I've never taken Creapure though, it would be great if I held less water but if not, oh well. I use the Bulk Supplements stuff and other than feeling bloated I have no issues with it.

Any water weight you hold from using creatine will be inside the muscle where you want it. It’s not water between muscle/fat and the skin.

I’ve been taking it for a month, every morning with water. I use it to wash down my vitamins.

Not to gross anyone out, but I have had a liquid stomach for a few weeks now, just straight water movements. I was wondering why and then it hit me it was probably the creatine…Is that normal? I’ve also been incorporating intermittent fasting for a few weeks. My blood pressure at a recent doctor visit was 150/100.

Also, I don’t feel as “puffy” like I felt before taking it. First time I’ve regularly used creatine since summer of 97.

no its micronized creatine that is over 90% pure. a company from Germany has the patent on the process and license it out.

nothing special about it other than it tends to not hurt peoples stomach and easier to mix.

most plain creatine mono are in the 60-70% purity range

I wouldn’t worry too much about a single high reading, but you probably want to start checking BP regularly at home.

Definitely. I’m eliminating some things from my diet and trying to get better sleep.

This may have been answered, but is there an ideal time to take creatine, or does it not really matter? I've got some creapure now, and have been taking it for about a week. All of my workouts are in the evening, so I've been taking a scoop of it around the same time I take a preworkout if I'm taking one. I really only take a pre if I'm doing weights followed by a spin class. Like 3 days a week at the most. I ride every other night, and lift 3-4 times a week, so there are some nights I do both. About a half hour before working out is when I've been taking my creatine, but is there any consensus on if pre/post workout is better, or as long as you are regularly taking a scoop per day does it matter?

I take it in the morning but it may be beneficial to take it about an hour before your workout. Others will know better than I.

Normal creatine vs creapure, what is the difference? Creapure is the ultra-pure, micronized, patent-protected form of creatine monohydrate. The difference is in terms of purity, while most creatine supplements are around 98-99% pure, Creapure is 99.99% Creatine Monohydrate.

Ain’t no way most if not all of the pure creatine mono supplements only have 60-70%.

Think you getting sold, bro
