on my own. It consists to not over eat and eat mostly food that not deep fried or tons of bread. Now, it's Saturday night, and I'm hungry, Can I go eat somewhere or what? Diets are ridiculas.

Nope. Sorry. Since you've decided to diet on your own, you may not go eat somewhere. Sounds ridiculous, but them's the rules of dieting on your own.

Or... just eat sensibly, don't overdo it and don't beat yourself up if you do overdo it a little bit or have a burger and fries or whatever.

You can get something high protein and low/reasonable calories at nearly any restaurant in America

Without knowing anything about your diet, calories consumed, or goals, I guess you can drink a protein shake or eat some Greek yogurt.

I'm eating healthy, but it's almost as tasty as my regular meals.

Lean sirlon steak
Chicken Breast in olive oil
Tuna steak
Tuna fish (can)
Extra lean ground meat with a small amount of rice & fresh peppers

rotate enough and I can easily go without cheat meals

The only thing I’m tracking now is protein since that takes care of any hunger issues, 1 gram per pound of body weight has been the standard as long as I can remember.

Secondly, you’re going to fall off the wagon, it’s ok but don’t let those mistakes compound. For example, I would work out hard all week and then grab some beer on the way home to drink in my pool. I’d have a wonderful time but inevitably feel like crap so I’d get a craving for some Taco Bell which would usually be followed by even more mistakes.
