yea almonds are pretty calorie heavy. I dont usually nit pick and clount individual items when eating. But almonds are a good snack, healthy fats and all, but you can eat a ton of calories before you realize it by just eating out the bag. So i do count those

I like all meats. Except white chicken.

Veggies would have to be asoaragus, sweet potatoes and eggplant. I also like spinach cooked into the food.

Chicken, lettuce and pinch of cheese. I use olive juice for dressing.

As far as marinating the chicken, I just get the bottled stuff, sometimes garlic & herb, sometimes lemon, sometimes Cajun and other times I do fat free Italian dressing with a bag of seasoning blend frozen veggies.

cook a bunch of ground turkey

Just curious as to why the ground turkey? Do you prefer the flavor to ground beef?

i love ground turkey.. prefer it ober ground beef (unless making burgers). Just seems less greasy tasting when eating by its self

I do, but purely for convenience of not having to make my lunch and dinner daily. Eating healthy happened to be a side effect. I certainly recommend the approach

I figured I would share my chicken breast in bulk since I cooked today. Managed to get the marinating tub in there too. I believe that's 35 on there. Sam's on Siegen had some reduced to $1.48/lb. It's gonna be hard to be that price.

Jesus that’s a lot of chicken breast. I’ve gotten to the point where chicken is my least favorite protein.

Unless it’s wings....

Yep. Freeze it then set in the fridge the night before you need it. Saves money in propane and marinade. Saves a TON of time. Still tastes good when reheated. Not as good if defrosted in the microwave though.

Yeah I have to smother chicken in sauce to stomach it leftover these days. Fresh, I'll still eat the shite out of it. Leftover chicken breast has just never been the same since I did a round of RFL
