Massive health benefits to raw milk. The ultra pasteurized garbage in the grocery store has little health value. It's worth the extra effort to get it.

Question- why whole milk instead of skim? I use skim due to less fat

I don't know what the availability is like on raw skim milk. Regardless, it's still half the protein and twice the sugar of fat free Fairlife.

I guess if you are trying to be skinny fat you are correct.

Let's not leave out the denatured protein, vitaminss and minerals, lack of enzymes which inhibits use of other nutrients, no lactase which breaks down the lactose, as well as no lipase to break down the fat.

There's more but it's not always just about comparing nutritional labels.

You mean the risk of illness and lack of any evidence based nutritional advantages?

What are you talking about? I am not shaming anyone just stating an opinion about raw milk.

Very low risk of illness. Pasteurization was put into place in the late 1800's b/c some dairy farmers were feeding the cows leftover grains/corn from distilleries which caused bad batches of milk from the cows.

If sourced properly, raw milk is just fine. There's plenty of evidence out there.

Why? The sugar and carbs in skim are far worse for you than the fat in whole.
