Our place goes from 14 to 20. I kinda wish we had more weight options. The 150 I did yesterday with the 20 was brutal.

How much room do you have in your garage?

I am moving into a new house and its a two car garage and I plan on my wife using one side and me using the other for the gym. Just going to park my car out in driveway.

That's how mine started. Now we both have to park in the driveway.

not much room

its only wide enouht for one car and has an elevated back half for some unknow fricking reason

so be barley can fit one of our cars in there

who ever built these houses on base is dumb

when we finally leave we will buy a house with a 2 car garage.

Half for the gym, half for the car we bought last summer

and to store my guns

Do the feet drag when you fold the rack in and out? My garage floor has a slight slat to to it so I’m trying to think how it would work on a non-level floor. It seems like the PRx racks that fold up would be more forgiving on a floor.

My friend has one and the feet drag but I think it’s because he fricked up the install

He just leaves it folded out all the time

I have the original powerblock adjustable weights. Been having them for about 10 years now. Much better than some other adjustable weights. Simple and durable.

Figured I'd just add on to this thread.

I work in oil and am usually at-least an hour away from a gym. I'm looking to start bringing workout equipment in the bed of my pickup everywhere I go so I can workout.

What would you guys pack in the bed of a 5.5' truck bed + cabin?

Thinking of:
1 horse stall mat (I'll be setting up outside)
cheap adjustable bench (it's going to take a beating)
adjustable dumbbells up to 75lb
non electric stationary bike (I'm thinking this model LINK
resistance bands

Is there any way I could squat or deadlift with a barbell in this situation? Are there barbells shorter that 5.5'? Any tips on how I could rack the barbell? Any suggestions on how to mount a post or something so I could hook up resistance bands for lat pull downs or tricep pulldowns?

Rogue Stubby Axle 5 foot bar

For a rack, it's pricey but legit:

Why not just get a set of gymnastic rings, a weighted vest and some kettlebells and call it a day? Much much better solution imo.

I have a buddy who has a bed cover so he usually stores a barbell and some plates, a rower, kettlebells, jump rope, and a set of 35lb dumbells. You can do a lot of shite with that!

Ever use them? Ask an oil field have to do pushups on them and watch them bust their face on the ground. They are no joke, matter them and you will get all the results you want especially using a weighted vest.

IYAM a rack is the one thing you shouldn't go cheap on. Your life may depend on it.
