I will be doing Greyskull LP. Fairly new to lifting. I don't have much interest in Olympic lifts right now. I am leaning towards iron plates.

I am going to pull the trigger soon on the Rogue folding half rack in 3"x3".

I have 1 of these coming to me today, tomorrow and Monday in 8 packages via UPS.

For $160 freight, I wish they would have just shipped complete via an LTL carrier

So not sure where you are in Texas but in general Ohio and Texas have the most manufacturers. You can find reviews through Google or on garage gym reviews for many of these

Texas Power Bar

Texas power bar is the original made by buddy Capps out of Irving.

Frimge Sport

Fringe Sport has been around a long time. Based in Austin and their general bumper plates are prolly the best on the market. Comp plates not as good as rogue, but everything else is.

GetRxd

Getrxd is based in Houston and has quality equipment. I have their xebwx rower and bike and its damn good quality, up there with the assault bike and c2 rower

Texas Strength Systems

TSS is in San Antonio

Some others

Bolt fitness in Houston

Troy barbell in Houston( very good option for bars and plates)

All of the above would cut shipping down a ton. Also can look at rep fitness.

I should’ve given him these options People swear by TPB (I almost bought one). By not skimping on a barbell, I just meant buying a good barbell from one of the major players.

I ended up getting a REP gladiator and Valor fitness needle barbell and I'm pretty satisfied with them. The only complaint on the Valor fitness is that it's black and hard to line my grip up.
