Any fat that is no more refined than cold press is likely healthy. (oh, and, that isn't rancid.)

The only fats I avoid are refined seed oils (occasional high oleic sunflower) like "vegetable oil," soybean, and rapeseed (canola). I don't really eat palm or peanut oil unless a restaurant uses it. I haven't studied them much.

I consume daily all the ones listed in this thread as good.

The only caveat I have is, we are still waiting on controlled studies of lean-mass hyper responders. Specifically whether people whose LDL is very high in presence of high SFA intake but very low carb intake are at elevated CVD risk. Good indicators so far that they are not.

People with ApoE4 gene variant (esp two copies) may have a propensity toward lean-mass hyper-responding.

But the sure-fire culprit in CVD risk is ultra-refined seed oils and the like esp with a high sugar diet.

Don’t put it on bread and it’s perfectly fine.
