Felt like plenty to me also. I could have gone a bit more but I would have had to get a spotter.

I have safety straps, but really didn’t want to do the roll of shame off the bench for first exercise of the week :)

I also modified it and just added 10 lbs every set and ran it up from starting at 205 to a 265 top set. So I think I added 1-2 sets in the middle compared to what he programmed. 15-20 lbs feels like a big jump on bench to me tho.

The lat raise/band pull apart superset had my shoulders begging for mercy, and the 8 sets of skullcrushers gave me an amazing arm pump to finish

Yeah. By the time I got to 10 on the pull aparts I was having to make myself gut out the rest.

W4D2 down

That was a lot of deadlifts. I had to adjust my grip a few times during the snatch deads. By the time I got to the DB shrugs my grip was gone and I failed the last set using a weight I use all the time. Looking forward to taking tomorrow off before easing into the RDLs Thursday.

Big bicep pump at the end. My knee is acting up so I may have to take a bit off of Big Squat Thursday, maybe Medium Squat Thursday.

I'll be doing narrow box squats to relieve some strain on my right groin.

W3D3 done, a lot of squats and I’ve been having sore knees too since deadlift day last week.

I’ve been busy the past few days and have gotten behind.

W4D2 down: deadlift wasn’t too bad (345x2 is a PR tho!) but my back was tightening up after snatch grips so I subbed in chest supported db rows for the 1arms and did the shrugs with bench supporting me too. Huge arse arm pump now oh my.

W3D4 done. Lower back was sore from the RDL’s yesterday but the SS were manageable.

Starting W4 tomorrow

If you need a good pump on Saturday, hit this workout up. I’ve been doing this on Wednesday and/or Saturday.

W4D3 down

One more to go! Thought it was a solid day. Generally the first few sets of everything was fairly easy. The last set on everything had to push to get it done. Went a little lighter on RDLs since I pinched something doing them last week. Also subbed BB shrugs instead of DB (gym was a little crowded and this just made it easier).

W4D3 felt really good. 350lb box squats were smooth.

I'm about to go in for some big squats myself!

Did we settle on Benchamin Franklin for June? If not I guess we better pick soon.
