i would imagine that doing these in a comercial gym is a pain and kind of funny.

I was thinking about just doing regular carries but said f it, I’ll do the goofy ones. These were almost as goofy as the bench planks we did

these actually do something though

you should see the looks i get in my neighborhood when i do overhead chaos carries(overhead carry but bands around the KBs and holding the bands so the kB bounces everywhere)

waiters walks aka overhead carries are awesome for core and overall strength, even better than farmers carries imo

I've never done overheard carries before. I guess I'm going to start with a pair of 20s and see how it goes.

Note: They get heavier each set so don't start too heavy. I made that mistake last time and couldn't even lift them over my head for the last set. And I think that was only 25s.

W1d3 done , accidentally did a bonus bp set, squats felt good, the shoulder/carry superset was a nice combo

I did 25s my fist set and then went up to 30s. Either my memory is wrong from last time or I've gotten a good bit stronger. Could go either way.

Made it through w1d2 even though I really need a rest day. Felt decent on the rows (175x10 all sets) but those overhead Carries broke me. Shoulders were not expecting a workout today after big bench into day 1. Workout ended with

Me: you wanna superset these reverse grip bb curls with a
Son: you shut the frick up right there.

Pretty much sums it up; these workouts are tough strength training and we are going to need the rest days on this program for sure

They’re meant to be 4 day right?

My plan is M/T Th/F with some cardio on Wednesday. Maybe rowing and walking.

Same here but walking as normal and then doing elliptical for cardio and hanging leg lifts for abs.

Definitely a little stronger on chins now, which is nice.

Not sure what to do about the overhead walks since it’s storming outside.

Just doing them in my garage. Measured off a five yard section and doing laps.

These are hard!

Almost done with W1D2. Ready for Wednesday!

Long time lurker first time caller…

I’ve been struggling with the same routines off and on for a year. This one really peaked my interest.

2 days in and I’m feeling it! So far I feel like I’ve guesstimated my 1rm on the big lifts pretty well… I’m right at a failure point on final sets.

I work out in a commercial gym so I just marched in place for the “overhead walks.” I’m sure it’s not as thorough of a movement but I was high stepping at least.
