I’d hold off just a minute longer before you spend some money.
The stimulus bill in Washington is looking like it will pass and it will give very adult making under $75k/year, $1,200.

Don’t know about you, but I could get a nice home gym setup for $1,200.

Yeah, because there are no racks out there to buy right now anyway.

True.

I was looking the other day and couldn’t find much. If my budget went up to $1,200 however, that’s a different story.

Rogue has an announcement on their website that they've transitioned some of their resources to making medical equipment. Inventory of their fitness gear may run short if you wait too long.

Everything is sold out. I ended up having to piecemeal my setup together from multiple craigslist purchases and it's not the stuff I'd normally want to invest in. It'll work for now though.

I just built a plyo box using a single sheet of plywood. Plenty of DIY vids on youtube. Home Depot cut it into the required sections with their panel saw. All that you have to do is screw it together, cut handles and sand. Less than $50

Looks like they’re using 2018 returns so I got lucky and will qualify because I was still in school.

So I’m all pissed off that I can’t lift and have made the decision to do a home gym.

What are the things I need to buy once cry once on? Power rack and barbell would be the top two I assume.

Definitely do some resistance bands of various sizes. (The 41" "pull-up assistance" style) you can do alot with them. Alot of bang for your buck

A pull-up bar is essential. If you get a power rack, one should be built in
