Sunday was a 70g carb day. Kind of rough squatting that day

The lower carbs isn’t that bad after a week

My strength lifts and energy are still on point

But I’m pretty much stuck at 176 the last two weeks and did not want to go more strict

But I’m just going to ride it out I know these last 6lbs will shed off even if it’s less than a pound a week

I’m seeing noticeable changes to my body composition

I have been sitting 166-168, was 170-172 before. But about to swap to maintenance on my check in Friday to start next week.

If I hold 168-170 and get some more food in me I feel like performance should increase (which I already like where my lifts have been with this), and maybe add a little muscle

Shift to a surplus after a few weeks maybe

My diet got totally blown up the last four days from traveling and a funeral

So the app now has my entire week as low carb as frick. I’m talking 60g a day

I’m at 175 now so it’s slowly dropping but this week might be miserable

The fat is still coming off mostly in my arms now. I don’t fill out my shirts as much which I like doing.

Also my forearms are starting to look super skinny

I had reset the diet

The algorithm had me now at 25 grams of carbs a day bc all the missed meals and my target date to make my weight goal.

I can’t operate on low carb days like that especially with being only 55g of fat too

Reset it to 5lbs to loose over the course of 7 weeks, much manageable

Anyone use Mike's Macros to track? I just downloaded and I plan on trying it out tomorrow instead of using MFP.

Why? Mfp has such a bad arse database I hate switching from them. Everything else is a pain in the arse to me.

Still hovering around 175

But I’ve leaned out a ton, my wife even said it’s really noticeable

With all the protein consumption I haven’t lost any strength or muscle

Vertical Diet for gains

Vertical diet is more a set of principles to help absorbtion of the food and help digestion. Less about macros and timing like RP.

I stopped the fat loss and moved to maintenance starting next week

It’s been like 9 weeks pretty sure they don’t recommend it that long

Ive gotten almost too lean in some areas and the weight has pretty much leveled out around 173. So 7 pounds since end of June

Maintenance is sooo nice

I feel so much better and love that there is more fat in my diet

I’ve probably gained about 4 pounds back but the body comp from fat loss has stayed

Recovery is even better
