Do you ever look up your gym on Instragram to see who's posting workout videos?

It's a goddamn epidemic.

Everyone's a vapid attention whore.

It’s just girls posting vids of stupid leg work outs in obviously way too tight spandex. Or what I call “How I pass time at work.”

Half reps are the king of men’s instagram fitness culture. And steroids while claiming to be natutal.

I just checked my gym. It's sad. Zero chicks posting selfies. That's what I get for choosing a remote gym that doesn't have many members.

Like your boy Layne Norton. You’d be amazed at the use of anabolics and shitty physiques because they have no clue how to run a protocol.

I can’t specifically speak for Norton. I have no idea. But I see plenty of instagram “fitness models” who gain insane amounts of mass and strength in a matter of a few months and claim it’s just dieting and commitment. I don’t care if you use steroids. Just don’t sell it to me that I can look like Arnold and never use steroids.

The people posting videos of themselves working out an our gym shouldn’t be posting them.

I guess they all think they can become instafamous.

Or they are just trying to hold themselves accountable for proper depth, form, etc. or they have an online coach they need to send video to in order to address specific issues...

They don’t need to post videos on the gym’s IG feed to get that feedback.

There are some people who are honestly trying to get feedback on form. Not every gym has a staff if qualified trainers. My gym has personal trainers for classes, but no trie strength coaches that can teach form.

Posting videos online is the worst way to get feedback unless it’s on a private forum like the Invictus page where Jared Enderton controls the feedback. Otherwise, they will have 10 different people telling them 10 different things.

I’d start with a neutral grip at the bottom and rotate to supination during the lift.

Other than that...

Never crossed my mind to look it up. I just did and it’s fascinating how many people post random shite of them working out.

They are training for hypertrophy...that’s not a terrible thing tbh. I would rather that than someone strong as frick who looks like this:

It’s like cool story bro your fat as frick of course you can move that much mass.
