Did some snatches for the first time in a while.

Climbed to 155 but, after that, kept missing the correct OH position and bailed.

It’s been a while since I’ve done anything over 95.

First day back in the gym since Tuesday. Took a break since I was feeling pretty rough. Still felt sore going in and my joints were all hurting. I guess I'm getting old, I don't recover from physical activity like I used to.

back squats - 4 sets of 6, 245 lbs.
DB incline bench - 4 sets of 6, 70 lb DBs
Push ups - 4 sets of 20
Weighted tricep dips - 4 sets of 10
Walking lunges - 4 sets of 20.

Stated a bench program again, but need to get this right shoulder needled before the next workout.

Bench: 215x8, 220x8, 220x7, 215x8
Incline DB pullovers: 65x8, 70x8, 75x8
Wide Grip Upright Rows: 80x8, 90x8x2
Seated Machine Side Raise: 90x8, 100x8, 110x8
Seated Shoulder Press: 80x8, 90x8, 100x8

Worked on some outdoor projects this past weekend, with a drill in less than ideal positions, and it irritated my shoulder.

Taking it easy for a few weeks. Had a health issue and am traveling, so I don't want to hurt anything while I'm on the road.

Went to the gym and ended up doing planks and talking about fishing for an hour. Didn't get much done other than stretch.

Taking the week off from deads and squats. Lower back has been tight as fuxk all week. I think its from the stupid amount of activity we have going on. This was our schedule this week

Monday- track meet and baseball game for oldest, pitching lessons and team practice with middle kid

Tuesday- tball game

Wednesday- tball game, baseball practice for middle kid, birthday party for oldest

Thursday- track practice and baseball for oldest, pitching lessons for middle

Friday- tball

Saturday- middle kid plays in Lafayette all weekend. Oldest has last track meet of the year and youngest has soccer

Sunday- games in Lafayette

Not to mention extra work and workouts with all 3.

Good thing I love my kids cause they pain in the arse

I wish I would've started lifting before I was an old guy, but that's not how it went. I'm happy with my progress anyway.

Currently I’m around 275 on bench at well over 40.

Just rebooted a bench program that, if I follow to a T, should bring me back to 300-315 in 6 weeks.
