Funny thing about that is that it was an EMOM. 2 power snatches, 2 OH balances and 3 OHS.

Strength - EMOM for 10 rounds squat clean, squat hang clean complex
First five rounds at 175, next three at 185 last two at 195. I couldn’t hang squat clean 195 I was gassed

Conditioning

Second day of the AMRAP Plus One Breathing Fire conditioning

100 cal assault bike for time

I was so smoked by the 50th cal. The lactic acid hit my legs and I could barely move them

Had to do most of the workout in 10 cal sprints

Had a 20 min AMRAP partner deal today.

200M run w 20 lb medball for partner 1
Partner 2 does as many slamballs as possible

Score is total slamballs for the team.

Me and my padnah are on the slow side. One round he stopped and sat down. I thought I was going to die doing slamballs. My quads, butt and shoulders were screaming.

A thruster takes me like 3-4 seconds. I’d imagine after 8 I would be pretty gassed.

morning session in the garage that was 15 degrees this morning

EMOM 10 rounds
odd rounds 5 bench press 175
even rounds 5 dumbbell rows 50lbs

then

15min AMRAP

3 power snatched at 85
5 dead hang pull ups
10 sit ups
10 alternating dumbbell snatches at 50lbs

on every 3 rounds do 5 push press instead of snatches

15 Box Jumps

Conditioning:
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Power Snatch 75/45
Overhead Squat 75/45
12 minute cap

Conditioning seems too easy to be true, so I'm sure I will be in hell halfway through

I wish we would do this. The build is amazing. I did not get nearly as far in the push ups doing this as i thought i would.

My wife did 50lbs this morning and managed 12+11.

I think I can get past 15 rounds at the Rx weight.

Strength - arse to grass back squats

245x3, 265x3,285x3, 305x3, went for 315 but could only get one rep but my depth was the lowest I’ve ever got at that weight

Conditioning

1K row - 4:35

Then

EMOM 7 rounds

2 hang clean and press at 135
5 toes to bar

I got 12 at 65 lb. exactly as posted earlier, it started sucking at 9, and by 12 my whole body was shaking.

Yeah. It was WODi Gras at Tad Gormley.

One of the guys at our gym asked me a while back if I wanted to join him on a team and I declined. No way was I going to commit to a CF event outside in New Orleans in February. The weather is unpredictable this time of the year.

Sure enough, they were outside in 42F weather to start the day.
