He’s done run swim events before and it’s a bad swimmer


Watching what happened on the stream was just perplexing esp after the commentators were like he’s in 7th and then 10 mins later were like um he should have finished by now.

Either severe cramping or a cardiovascular event.

Triathlons start with the swim, they don't end with it.

WTF were the dudes doing on the paddleboards? Spectating? If a spectator saw it happening, those dipshits should have been there for him. The spectator tried to enter the water to render assistance but was turned away.

CrossFit has been rudderless after they forced Glassman out. It’s been on a steady decline since his departure.

When it’s all about $$, and less about the community Glassman created, this is what you get.

I wonder if the affiliate who threw Glassman under the bus by blasting his email to the world on his response about George Floyd to them, regrets their decision.

They wanted CF and Glassman to address George Floyd, when it was best just to stay out of the shite storm that followed it, and Glassman didn’t respond well about it.

Hit the gym for the first time in 10-12 weeks after surgery in early October,

Scaled everything and kept weights somewhat light.

Front Squat:
65%x5
70%x4
75%x3
80%x2
85%xMax Reps

Most recent 1RM was 300 but I wasn’t touching those %s after abdominal surgery

95x5, 115x4, 135x3, 155x2, 175x5

Workout was a 12 min AMRAP
10 TTB
50 DUs
12 Squat Cleans 135/95

Subbed Situps (had some lower ab pain), stayed at 95 and just did SUs and a was in the middle of Round 4.

The ab pain was due to scar tissue from an adhesion along the ab wall that they had to remove. Not anything too serious.

Sore AF since it’s been 10 weeks since I touched a barbell.

Back tomorrow.

Legs were trashed and waited a full week to go back.

Today:

Back Squat 5x3 at 60%

185x3 for me. Left hamstring has been tight all week and still conscious of this healing abdominal incision.


Workout
14 min AMRAP
50 DUs
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 Deadlift 125/185

SUs and 185. All reps were unbroken on the deadlifts. No issues.

Finished the 10 deadlifts and stopped. I wasn’t going to 11+

My wife wants a CF backpack for Christmas to carry gear in. Hundreds of options online. What’s a good pack for a woman? She’s average height. No specific parameters other than that. But I do have a question that may influence… Is a separate shoe compartment necessary?

I have a large Bear Komplex backpack that has a zippered shoe compartment on the bottom.



There is a smaller version of the same bag available but the larger bag is nice and can be an easy carry on that will hold everything you need for a weekend flight/trip.

Still recovering and just did 95 on the PP and sit-ups.

I tried a few TTB kips on the bar and the full stretch at the arch position felt tight at my healing incision so I stayed off the bar.

Back at it after some BS setbacks…

Yesterday:
Partner WOD: 4FT
30 synchro lunges
50 Hang Power Snatches 75/45
100 DUs

Snatches & DUs split however

16:30 or so

The lunges set quads in fire in the 3rd and 4th.

I set up the WURQ device and my HR jumped into the 170s in the 1st round and stayed there the whole workout.

Today:
Partner WOD: 10 rounds every 2 min (5 each)
15 Wallballs 20/14
Max Cal row in remaining time

You go, I go full rounds

22-25 cals every round.

HR was in the 160s here during the 2 min on.
