I had to scale the cleans a little to protect the knee still.

20 DL @ 205
20 Cleans @ 155
20 thrusters @ 135
2K row

Went 10-10 on deadlifts, singles on cleans and 10-5-5 on the thrusters.

My back was lit trying to row after that shite.

Did this yesterday to try and shake off the NYE destruction. Got just under 9:30, but I'm tall and these are the only things I'm good at.

Finished it off with a quick bench press session, and finally a BMU circuit of which I didn't complete one rep and called it quits for the day

I may be wrong but it looks like a bar muscle up workout where you don’t do a bar muscle up.

This morning:

Warmup
50 cal on AirRunner
50 KBS
50 cal AirRunner

The warm up to a heavy back squat
3 rounds of 6 reps

Then 3 rounds of 20 (10x10) barbell lunges

Then 3 rounds of 15 not sure what they are called. Like a barbell bent-over row x a RDL


This afternoon:
35:00 AMRAP
2 bench press
4 dbl kb squats
12 bicep curls
8 kb high pulls
10 ski cals

Workout of the Day

A.) 15 Minutes:

Squat Clean Thruster

Build to a tough weight and hit 10 Singles

B.) 10 Minute AMRAP

4 Burpees
6 KBS (70/53)
8 Wall Balls (20/14)

A was fun. 135lb.. my shoulders are weak af.


B was spicy. I did women's Rx weights

Any of y'all's places have alternative workouts? Ours started some Fit nonsense, and we are losing class members by the day to it. Hell, I was the only one to do part B last Friday. Even foot did that Fit crap.

CLosest thing we have is coaches open up side programs, like a running program, for members to participate in if they desire. They don't replace the class WODs though.

I love the workouts, I need to lose weight. They burn a shite ton of calories, get me sore AF and I dont have the joint pain in my ankles and such as the heavier days. I think I will do em twice a week to deload.

The workouts are just better in some ways and keep my heart rate up for long periods of time.

Had assessment week last week and got a PR on almost everything. I took 19 seconds off my mile time which I was super pumped about.

Today wasn't too terrible.

300m Run
Lunges Down and back
High kicks down and back.
15 Jumping air squats

Then 2 rounds:
- 10 Push press
- 20 sec plank

Push Press (4x6)
(6 mins)
35% x 3
45% x 3
55% x 3
65% x 3

Working sets: (9 mins)
4 x 6 @ 70%

Metcon (No Measure)
Strict Gymnastics
12-9-6:
Strict Chest to Bar Pull-ups/banded
Strict Deficit Handstand Push-ups/flushed/Box pike

Directly Into…

6-9-12:
Strict Pull-ups/banded
Flushed Strict Handstand Push-ups/box pike

*6 Minute Time Cap on Each
