I did Rx while my partner slightly scaled his weight.

10s on DL
5s on Cleans
5s on Snatches
Burpees sucked.

Kept sets to 5 on Cleans and Snatches because my partner would have crashed after the deadlift.

We did an easy workout..

25 Min
Min 1 Row
Min 2 Step ups
Min 3 Situps
Min 4 90/90 (sitting hip rotation shite)
Min 5 Side Shuffle

I pushed it and got my HR up to 176 at one point.

I enjoyed the slower WOD today. My back is sore as hell from top to bottom between Monday's WOD and yesterday.

Another easy one scheduled. I guess they think everyone is beaten up from the 9/11 workout two days ago.

I'll hit the noon class, followed by a chest workout, and get some running in.

Eventual goal is to run a 5K every Friday afternoon around 3pm to help boost my cardio/running.

Intensity is low on this one but weights should be heavy, I'm sure.

WORKOUT OF THE DAY

A.) 3 SETS

5-10" RING SUPPORT HOLD + 30” SLOW CONTROLLED PUSH UPS (FULL ROM), REST 2 MINUTES
3+ REPS OF RING DIP W/ 5” HOLD AT THE TOP, REST 2 MINUTES

B.) 12 MINUTES

M1- DB FLOOR PRESS
M2- ROPE CLIMB
M3- STRICT PRESS
M4 REST

Our wod today had sumo high pulls at 115. I feared for my back so I did our fit workout instead. Damn thing almost killed me.

Did the same workout as Hulk. The 135lb strict press got heavy quick after the 70lb DB floor presses and rope climbs.

Went to house, picked up my Progenex order, and headed back to the gym.

Bench: Warmups, 235x5, 240x4, 240x4
Incline DB: 70x7x3
Weight Dips: +26lbsx8, +35x8x2

Mile run.

00:00- 15:00
Build to a tough single Squat Clean

15:00-20:00
Load 70%

20:00-27:00
AMRAP @ 70%


I worked up to 175lb. Not a PR but just 10lb shy. It went up quite easy.. I need to re-test max cleans soon.

I got 40 reps on the AMRAP. Counted a few that were probably no-reps (depth) if I'm being honest.

Metcon 3s are finally about to blow out. Any suggestions for 4 vs 5? Think 5 looks better, but if the 4 is a better shoe I'll take the cheaper price.

10 cals on the assault bike
5 deadlifts at 225
10 toes to bar

Every min drop and do 5 push ups

First time using the assault bike in about 5 months, bc the gym has a echo bike

The echo bike is so much harder it’s not even funny

500m Row
25 Air Squats
25 Sit Ups
25 Double Unders (50 SUs)

*Follow the leader. One partner starts on the row, while the other begins on the air squats.

Workout of the Day

Every 10 minutes x 3 Sets:

15 burpees
15 KBS (70/53)
20 Thrusters (65/45)
15 KBS (70/53)
15 Burpees

* Scale to go unbroken


I did no pushup burpees, 53lb KB except last round I did 44lb, and 45lb thrusters.

The idea was to sprint hard and rest a long time. Preferably stay under 4 minutes a round.

Those burpees would just slow me down too much. They break me.

I did that Monday. It was fun. Hated the row and that second round of DUs was rough.

Going to try to make my return to dubs today, so i will not get far into this workout. I may stay late and do some extra to make up for it.
