Tough to pull against Chandler Smith since he’s currently an active duty Captain in the US Army, but I’d like to see Ben Smith qualify for an 11th Games.

Yea he’s got one of those Tim Kennedy type active duty deals where bc he’s so good at CrossFit they let him focus on that to promote the Army

I finally got back to some deadlifts yesterday after battling a pinched nerve in my neck for 8 weeks.
Squatted up to 315x3
Deadlifted up to 335x3
That 335 felt heavy. My 445 max seems so far away right now.
Ben Smith has to go ham on this to catch Chandler in this event.

Smith looking all unbalanced in the deadlifts. I wonder how much his knee is bothering him after the early 2019 surgery.
Smith will have to head to the Granite Games to get a spot if he continues to struggle.
ETA: Yep.. that was definitely a no-rep because he looked over at the judge on his last pull-up before getting his chin over the bar.

Did one of Ryan Fisher’s high intensity body building workouts
5 rounds
6 power cleans at 135lbs
6 bench press at 175lb
2 mins double unders
2 min rest
Then EMOM 6 rounds
Min One 5 dumbbell clean and press at 35lbs and 5 strict pull ups
Min two 10 pushups and 5 toes to bar

I haven’t been doing shite. Had an MRI on Tuesday. Read my report at work on Wednesday. Two tears in my meniscus and a cyst. Seeing surgeon Monday.

..and she supposedly did 42 strict HSPUs in 19.3.
I definitely want to see video of that. Sure, there was a slight deficit to these, but it wasn’t a 0 rep deficit for someone who did 42 just 3 months ago.
