Justin King (made the games last year in M35-39) got 453 on 18.1.
He was pulling 1900 on his last round of row to get back to TTB.

Justin is an animal, dude kills it everyday. Pretty fun to train with too.
He could very well make a podium appearance this year. I have no doubt he will destroy any workout with barebell movements; he is crazy strong on all of his Oly lifts.

He’s gotta be one of 3 strongest CF’ers in LA if not the strongest

I wouldn't doubt it, though the 2 downvotes might
The guy can snatch 300 lbs and make it look easy.

Those posters may remember his other athlete assessments

Re did Monday and got 299. I’m not complaining but my goal was 300. My grip was absolutely wrecked. I felt like a crippled after it was over.

There is a guy I follow on Instagram. Marcus Filly? Does he compete?
Posted on 2/28/18 at 8:49 am to SabiDojo
He has in the past, but hasn't done so the last 2 years. He brings up a lot of good movements you can add into your current programming that aren't often thought; could probably finish in the top 20-30 if he did compete.

He has one of the best bodies I've seen in a long time. I am jelly.

Duh, brah. I'm just saying I wish I looked like him.

I mean...I wasn't gonna say it...but I feel the same way
His genetics are probably all-world but if I could even get to 1/4 of his fitness level I'd be ecstatic.

Yeah he seems to be elite at almost everything.
People rag on CF but I have met a lot of CF men and women and they are all very impressive and with great aesthetics.
They are the nicest people too. They make you feel like you've known them for years.

Count me as one of them. I talked a lot of shite about it until I actually started doing it. There really is no limit to what you can train yourself to do & achieve in CF. I enjoy the competitive side of it.
It's nice to find people who are just as competitive as you are yet are willing to help & encourage you to push past what you thought was possible. After years of lifting alone, I now find I get more from a workout in a group setting compared to doing something by myself.

Yeah, it's pretty cool to see them push each other.

I always lift better with others. The problem is that I'm really intense and not a lot of people can match it. My OG workout buddies stopped going.
