I think that's kind of unfair to compare. Every year the weights get heavier and heavier, and the field gets stronger and stronger, even the veterans.
If Froning was training in his prime now whose to say he wouldn't be at that level? He trained for what was needed at the time.

And I'd amend that the top 15 solo girls are less aesthetically appealing than team girls. There are some fine ladies in the bottom 20. The more muscular gravitate to the top.

Most get too boxy because they loose all body fat. There are a few cute ones but the everyday girls in regular gyms are better proportioned
