Cpap vs mouthpiece

Years ago I had a cpap and it started out fine, but never great. The damn mask leaked, machine was rather noisy so I eventually stopped using it. I went to local dentist in Baton Rouge and fitted me with a mouth piece - the damn thing hurt my teeth etc.
Drama I know
Anyway a friend recommended a dentist that provides a mouthpiece but the damn thing is $4000 my portion after insurance.
I’m open to suggestions thanks

Unless you have mild apnea, the mouthpiece isn’t enough. Get properly fit for PAP treatment, and get nasal pillows. Zero leak and less pressure needed with pillows vs a mask.

$4000 for a mouthpiece is robbery

It would be one with screws that pushes your jaw forward. Not exactly a mouthpiece in the traditional sense.

Wish I could tell you tremble brand but I have no idea. My husband bought a blue mouthpiece on line and dear me it’s geeat When he puts it in. He tends to go to sleep without it and put it in when I tap him enough.
It really helps.
Eta I have no idea if he has sleep apnea or not. He won’t see about it. Not overweight by a lot but could loose a few.

I got a dentist mouthpiece that pushes my jaw forward for like 200 dollars after insurance. It’s just a mold and rubber bands basically. I wore it for years and it worked but I noticed after a year or so that my jaw has now moved forward permanently. I basically have an under bite now. I have been doing better sleeping on my side but I really need to go get the cpap

I have had a mouthpiece for years. Makes a huge difference in my rest. I swear by it.
