Here's a good video of glaxon formulator breaking down their formula as well as the reasons behind the ingredients.

I agree with on pre-workout. That being said, workout intensity should be driving factor.

If you’re a 2 minute rest between sets while you look at your phone and stick to machines, then you really don’t need it.

If your workouts are more intense and less social oriented, you may appreciate the boost at the end of that hour.

I disagree on protein. Been doing more calorie deficit and added protein because i wanted to mix it up. Started seeing much better results in fat loss with added protein.

Like with all things fitness, individual body composition determines the effectiveness of protein/pre workouts.

What is that? I work shiftwork and have 3 kids. When I retire and the kids are grown, maybe I'll discover it.

it is by far the best way to recover. 8 hours of uninterupted sleep does wonders for the body, is anti aging, helps a ton in muscle building, fat loss etc.

couple studies showed that sleep has a huge influence over fat loss...even when in a consistent caloric deficiet.

Lol. When you are lifting heavy in a linear program you need rest between sets. It's not to play grab-arse, it's to make the next set possible.

Pre workout 100%. Not necessary. Especially dry scooping which is fricking retarded and these fake arse YouTube fitness Pepa just make it worse. But they do have se benefits.

As for as protein you are way off. You are not getting 200+ grams of protein with food when you are trying to eat sub 1800 calories.

Fellas, most of you are in your mid 30s or mid 40s, you don't need pre-workout to go to anytime fitness to lift for 45 minutes 4 days a week. And you likely don't need protein powder, just eat some meat and you will easily hit your needed protein goals.

Is this one of those one size fits all posts. Because this may work for you, it will work for everyone else regardless of lifestyle, body style, gym goals...

Personally I never was a preworkout guy. Tried it a few times, but didn't care for the feeling (felt more jittery than anything). Pre-injuries, I was also an after work and late night guy, so they never affected my sleep anyway.

In regards to the protein powder, I enjoy them and they were a huge factor in helping me reach weight goals. Especially when I was trying to cut weight and could use it as a smoothie to curb late night cravings
