Did a rowing class last week and have decided to do rowing 2-3 a week to change things up. I did the 30/30r workout today and liked it a lot. What are you baws go to workouts?

Last one we did was 30 Min EMOM

Minute 1 - Max Cal row
Minute 2 - Rest

Repeat 15 times.

Not gonna lie, was not fun.

check out the concept 2 website. they do workout of the day everyday for short, medium, and long workouts

I like the sprint intervals with varying distances and throw in some long distance slow work (5k-10k) on some days

I like this one for a quick warmup

100m row and how many meters you go under or over is the number of burpees you have to do

do like 10 rounds of that

it is more difficult than you think

That sounds good actually. The class I did was intervals including pushups, squats, etc. in between rowing.

I’ll just set up a 100M row and it’ll stop at 0 each time.

I tried a rower last night and it was fun. I don't know how to adjust the intensity, though.

It depends on the rower.

The C2 allows you to adjust the damper. Most of the time it’s set on 5, but if I’m rowing for calories, I’ll bump it to 7-8+.

There should be an adjustable lever on the flywheel.

I just do 45-90 minutes while watching hockey for endurance training.

Has greatly improved my breathing when lifting

I really like it as a low impact morning workout. I'm fine in the afternoons but I've never been able to consistently lift or run in the morning.

Check out the Pete Plan. If you are not in good fitness, start with the beginner plan.

Also, you want a damper setting of 3-5 if you want to mimic water.

frick That.

I row in the mornings before my workout as a warmup. I usually do 500m in under 1:50 for a warm up. Then 500m in under 2:30 for a cool down after my workout.

I have no idea if it's actually doing anything or helping, but it sure does feel like it.

2000m warm up, eight 500m sprints with 1 minute rest. Try to keep each split under 1:50 and beat your previous time each split. Brutal
