I appreciate any pros or cons or ideas for other diets.

What I’m looking for is someone who has at one point fully implemented the diet and what changes were there.

I know people are going to say ‘but meat’ ..that isn’t this diet, unfortunately

Here’s the list Sebi diet

You're going to get the same advice on this board as the OT, not only is this diet retarded, but you're also going to fail and be back to eating Popeyes and rice and gravy with quickness

You’ve already admitted on the OT you’re going to miss proteins and will “cheat” with them. Why not try something you can succeed with? Stop being lazy and prepare your own healthy meals and snacks using a food scale. I assume you’re pretty fat judging by your post in the OT so you probably need to eat at a caloric deficit and exercise more.

I suggest any diet that helps you maintain a calorie deficit while minimizing hunger. Personally, that's a high protein diet with many veggies and controlled carbs.

Eating meat while I transition into the diet. I would expect that wouldn’t last 30 days. Perhaps I didn’t word this correctly.

And no-6 ft 185ish. Just recovered from breaking a bone or two in my ankle doing a Muay Thai kick with bad form. My mind wasn’t focused on the kick I’ve kicked hundreds of times bc my little sister was being harassed and I wasn’t focused. Bad practices. I have learned.

Be better than someone who has to answer two separate threads on a benevolent subject and call it retarded. You have an extra ordinary amount of venom in regards to this. Good luck.

It's an idiotic diet created by a quack that is going to leave you protein and vitamin deficient. You're going to feel and look like shite, but if you are dead set, go ahead.

I'd say it's idiotic to jump in front of a train too, but if you are going to do that no matter what too there's nothing I can do to stop you.

Just do Keto bro. You can eat all the bacon, butter, and cream cheese fat bombs you want and still lose weight because your body switched to burn fat into fuel.

Everyone is telling you not to do this diet. Sounds like you've found the answer, but it's not what you wanted to hear. Not sure what more you're looking for

I’ll never suggest a diet that doesn’t include meat, but I know that there are people who do the whole vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. So, if it works for you, go for it.

I'm plant-based but a quick look into this Sebi guy sets off every red flag in the book.

made up credentials: check
requires exclusive supplements of questionable nature: check
some bullshite about alkaline: check

And as an added bonus this guy also claimed to have an herbal cure for hiv.

This is just bullshite.

And to the op: I can try to answer any general plant-based questions if you're interested but I'm not here to push it on you or convince you. To the contrary, if you're not 100% all in with plant-based you likely won't get the results you're looking for and I would actually advise against it.

I find it to be an excellent way to eat for myself and my goals. I don't really lift though or anything like that. Just bodyweight exercises and I ruck at least 100 miles a week on average( I used to run but an injury fricked up my balance so rucking became my substitute). I know there are plant-based lifters out there but I just don't know enough about that to comment. I am not "bulky" by any means though if size is your goal.

There's a lot of bs and myth floating around as common knowledge. So read read read. One thing that "anti-vegans" are right on, though, is that it is a challenging and time consuming diet to do properly... at first. But the truth is that the first part is overwhelming for most people. Something like 85% don't make it one year.

And right off the bat make sure you're supplementing B12 and vit d.

Fake credentials and an herbal cure for HIV? Yeah I would take a single word of advice from a quack like that.

I don’t inherently hate the plant based diet in and of itself. I think for certain people, it works great, but I think most people should incorporate meat into their regular diet, that’s just my opinion. My biggest gripe with a lot of vegan types are how far they go out of their way to eat food that doesn’t contain any animal products. They’ll buy these fake meats or whatever and claim it’s superior in terms of health and quality when in reality it’s nothing but processed trash. So, it’s the crazy zealots who have no science knowledge at all that drive me bonkers.

I mean, that's the literal definition of being vegan

That's why I always clarify WFPB rather than vegan. You can have a trash diet and be vegan. Hell, I'd bet most vegans have trash diets just like most Americans period have trash diets. I don't eat processed food of any kind other than minimally processed foods like white rice or the occasional tortillas. I eat "raw vegan" for breakfast and lunch most days. Not because I'm a raw vegan but just because it's easy and I like it.

I do wish people would stop bringing up beyond meat and shite like that to use as a knock on all of plant-based eating. It's like bringing up processed fast food burgers as a knock against eating animal products in general. Healthy eaters aren't eating that garbage.

I get what you are saying, the problem is people essentially unanimously agree that fast food isn't good for you. Those plant based "meats" are marketed and argued as healthy.

You and I agree that it isn't but that's not the messaging

I guess that's true. I just dismiss most food marketing out of the gate so it's not much of a consideration for me.
