Anybody ever dealt with this shite? Felt some pain in my back Sunday but golfed anyway.
Well the last few days have been hell. I was told I had this APT before from some x-rays but didn't take it as seriously as I should have.

Lots of desk jockeys have this due to sitting too much. Strengthen your back, lower core, hamstrings, and hips. Get a standing desk if you can.

Athlean-X has a good video for this on youtube. Has helped me before in the past, but I've gotten lazy again.

Physical therapist old neighbor. Should go see them again probably but hoping I can stretch and work it out on my own.

The Athlean X video was good, I had forgotten about those guys.

Your back pain may not be from your pelvic positioning.

I have posterior pelvic tilt, rounded shoulders and hunch back, iPhone neck. I have weak rhomboids, tight pecs, it looks horrible, at least with APT It looks like you have juicy glutes, and stand up straight. A lot of high-level cross fitters have APT from so many squats and deadlifts, and creates crazy extended abs.

I’m tall, always leaning over living in a shorter persons world, slouch when I sit, slouch when I stand. But the last six months I have had about 80% improvement in my posture, and strengthened many of my deficiencies.

A pulled muscle, or sciatica can happen with any type posture.

You can definitely figure it out yourself, but with a co-pay, you can go see a physical therapist to show you the exercises and explain the situation, then just do the program at home. you have to figure out what muscles are stretched and weak, and which ones are tight and too strong, and the exercises to strengthen and stretch those. Remember, it takes like 3- six weeks of everyday exercise to get your brain and muscle linked and working before it can strengthen, its a 12 week program.

I was having back pain between shoulder blades, when doing a movement at work that I have done for years, and almost instant pain. After doing all the things the chiropractor and physical therapy offered, it was massage that seemed to help the most. Not spa type massage, but painful muscle manipulation.

I’m a 42 year old physical therapist and have had an anterior pelvic tilt my entire life that I guarantee you is probably worse than yours. I’ve lifted very heavy weights as well.

The anterior pelvic tilt is likely not the reason for your symptoms.
