I was prescribed Anastrazole for elevated estrogen levels from TRT injections. My estrogen seems to rise quickly. Can anyone recommend a safe dose. I was told 3 per week of 1mg pill from my doctor. Seems high
Thanks

I’m prescribed 1mg once a week. I never take it. My last E2 check was 18. I would’ve crashed and felt like shite if I blindly followed my urologist’s orders. Rule of thumb, don’t take AI unless really symptomatic. As your Test rises, so will your e2, Thats completely normal.

Back before I knew anything about HRT, I was on clomid for fertility along with 1mg arimidex 3x a week. God only knows how atrocious my labs were. I was a complete mess. My wife should’ve kicked my arse to the curb.

I take one mg every two weeks. If your estrogen gets too high, you'll be crying like a baby at chick flicks, and your nipples will get sore. On the other hand, if it gets too low, you'll lose your sex drive, too. You need to take the meds and monitor your reactions, and get your levels checked so you can fine tune your dosage

man- I appreciate the feedback. That was my concern-following the doctors orders blindly.

The thing for me is that my test isnt going up as fast as the estrogen. The estrogen gets out of control before I get the benefits of the higher test

What do you mean it gets out of control? Symptoms?

What uncle Jack said…unless you are systematic…don’t take an AI. If you do, start 1/2mg week so that you don’t just crush estrogen and feel worse

I seriously pity people who get on that damn drug for HRT. It made me an insecure mess. I’d get pissed when my wife would talk to her Friends on the phone, no amount of sex would satisfy me, my sleep was shite. I cringe when I look back on those days. Life is much improved now with TRT dialed in pretty well and our baby girl going on 8 months.

Doc has me on clomid since we were trying for a baby. Now I know why I get pissed off super quick. Should I hop off clomid and onto the real deal asap? I do feel a lot better since being on clomid, though

no not if you are trying to have a baby.

stay on the clomid

im asssuming he has you on hcg?

protocol from baylor and other top fertility docs is

3000 iu of HCG EOD
50mg clomid on opposite days

get checked for varicocele and get it fixed if you have one

if after 6 months still have low count, you can add hmg.

Honest question because I’m not on TRT. Just curious.

Instead of a prescription for E2 that makes you feel like shite, what about Arimistane? Just a supplement pill? Would that help them?

arimistane is 3-deoxy-7-oxo-DHEA not the original 6oxo, its more of a thermogenic and designer steroid that works on cortisol than an AntiE like 6oxo was

if you want to go over the counter then 6oxo is the way as it is strong but doesnt destroy E all the way. combined with something like sustain alpha and boron and have a pretty effective stack. i think purerawz has 6oxo still.

I'm 65 and have been on testosterone for 20 years - first the gel, now a shot every 2 weeks.

My Dr has me take 1 MG of Anastrazole once a week

find a new doctor

you should be doing a shot 2x per week. you are having huge swings in levels, opening yourself up to way more side effects

on top of that

this is retarded as a blanket script just because you are on trt
