2miles on the treadmill equals what on a stationary bike?

Trying to work in cardio at the gym before work of at least 2miles. Ideally I want at least 2miles on the treadmill, but if I wanted to change it up... how many miles on a bike would be a close comparison?

Get a calorie burn estimate on the treadmill for the 2 miles. Then strive for the same amount on bike and see how many miles and whatever resistance setting it equals calorie wise.

Gotta increase the resistance big time on the stationary bike if you want 4miles to equal 2 on a treadmill.

In this situation why not just go by time instead of distance? Honestly wondering here since it's only two miles on a treadmill.

Sorry, one can only get in what they can or not get it in at all. Everyone has challenges in fitting in workouts and work.

I understand. I'm just thinking two miles in a treadmill should take 20 minutes or less. My amateur understanding is that cardio under than 25-30 minutes is kinda all the same as long as you stay within your target HR. Maybe someone else here with more knowledge has better insight.
If time is the limiter in the workout I'd think a similar time in a bike would suffice. Just try to match your heart rate for your typical two miles run.

2 miles is 2 miles.
Depends on the type of equipment used, intensity of the setting and settings of either. I use ones that have a calorie counter.
For example on the app I use:
1 hour on a stationary bike / 14mph - 650 calories
1 hour on a treadmill / moderate incline / 4 mph 721 calories

Hopefully you don't use those number for some type of strict calorie count with a diet. better estimate for treadmill is 100-125 calorie per mile and on the bike unless you have the resistance maxed out 14 mph is not that much effort and that burn is 500ish.

No, just an example. I like treadmills or rowers better anyway. Never was a "stationary bike fan". I use apps paired to Fitbit to help keep a "bank account of calories. I use Lose It for one, but I'm not trying to lose weight. Just keep track to stay at the same level. Get enough exercise with my Krav Maga classes anyway.
