As for the workouts, I've seen two cases of cross fit induced rhabdomyolisis since I've been in Lake Charles. Some of the workouts are poorly designed and downright dangerous IMO.

I scaled the workout today since im just getting started. I've been lifting weights forever.........just bored with it.......needing to try something new.

Basically overworking working a muscle to beyond regular damage, which a lot of the basic moves in cross fit do pretty regularly. Good way to end up in the ICU.

No, doing 300-700 pushups a day will not give you rhabdo.
