So I figured out based on what I've done so far that if I do 400 every day but Saturdays for the rest of the month, I can hit the 10k (mmmm 10k, delicious). That schedule should work for me if I can continue to squeeze in 150-200 at work. I like having Saturdays off.

Just be smart about it, listen to your coaches (assuming they are good ones. The horror stories of poorly qualified coaches do have some merit, although they are fewer and farther between than people seem to think), don't sacrifice form for weight, and you should be fine.
I just came from a CF workout and part of it included 50 push-ups. I love when the workouts include push-ups now
