Anybody else want to do it for June? I did it a few years ago with yall and saw some noticeable improvements in my bench press and overall strength.

If you do 334 the first day the rest are a piece of cake. I may give it a go.

Not that I'm likely able to do that, but I might try. I've done over 200 plenty but not for days in a row. Maybe 2000 morning and 150 evening works.

Is this added on to your regular workout routine?

I did it a few years ago and just noticed a buildup of fatigue.

Yeah. I've done it a couple times. No real physical change, but you do get really good at doing push-ups.

Doing 10,000 push ups doesn’t tighten up your chest?

What’s your daily chest and shoulder stretching routine?

It will tighten your chest, but it won't add mass.

You'll gain an edge to your bench numbers from that volume, but it'll be minimal.

I'd recommend dropping your bench number by 30 pounds and just put up rep after rep instead.

333 push ups for 29 days is 9657

June 30th, 334 push ups equals 9991

So you’d be 9 push ups short baw

I workout about 4 days a week, real early before I go to work. Chest I do a couple days a week along with some shoulder work and core work. I don’t throw around big weight but just try to stay fit. Also work in commercial construction and it’s pretty physical what we do, red iron and other metal work. I’ve been on the lion diet for about a month and half, steak and deer meat. I think the 10,000 push up challenge would be cool because I’d like mainly just to keep pushing myself, not really achieve some crazy bench press goal. All in all just hit 40 and looking for ways to stay fit.

If you’ve ever heard of mountain tough fitness, I try to follow some of their regiments.

I did pushups everyday for about 9 months straight and developed a horrible shoulder pain

After years of dealing with shoulder and elbow pain (old baseball stuff and some work pain) I got on an anti-inflammatory, which has me feeling able to take on new challenges.

Making sure you have it knocked out by the end of the weekend?

Definitely not ready to do this, but I'm down for seeing what I can do (need to set a benchmark and start somewhere)

I did it a couple of years ago. If you're not used to higher volume pushups, it may take a few days for your body to adjust. Once you get used to them, it really isn't hard.

I highly suggest mixing some pullups into there.
