Well, the Fitzpatricks, Lowry, and Griffin have to play but expecting another Korn Ferry type turnout then.

Zurich’s own success is the reason they aren’t getting a better spot most likely. It’s arguably the worst spot on the schedule yet it’s getting great attendance and very good ratings for its field. It’s a victim of its own success. The tour isn’t going to risk moving another tournament to this date and having it fail miserably

Doral was a pretty big flop this year. The Zurich would get some relief if they avoid having the Cadillac or another signature event right behind it.

Regardless it was another good tournament this year and seems to have some momentum.

It doesn't help its the week after RBC though, which a lot of the top guys play after the Masters. Its a signature event and the players love it as its essentially a mini-vacation for their families after the Masters. Zurich essentially just got fricked over again on the schedule but hopefully it won't be followed by two signature events and a major like this year.

It would help a ton if the shitty Cadillac tournament either isn’t an Sig event, or is moved schedule wise next year.

I could see the Schwab and Byron Nelson get moved earlier time wise with the PGA being in Frisco

They have to play it in that slot because no one wants to come to Nola when it's 95 degrees and 100% humidity

With 2 top 30 OWGR in the field (1 had a brother partner and 1 was an ambassador defending champion) they don’t want to come in April either.

Be honest, the course is shite. New Orleans is not a destination players want to take their families with little kids. The tournament has turned into an event where a top player can secure a tour card for their little brothers or best friends. I don't care what anyone says, the Zurich will not be here in 10 years.

Wrong.

Also wrong. ForeKids is actually known for how well they treat the players.

That's actually a selling point, not a detriment.

Whether or not the tournament still exists will not be for any of the BS reasons you listed.

The course is in the best shape it has ever been. I hope next year they won’t have a signature event the week after
