That first par 3 at the Bluffs is just stupid.
18 at Greystone from the tips isn't nearly as bad as from the golds. I don't mind one par 5 out of 4 being a "forced" 3 shot hole, but I agree that a course having two of them is frustrating. They could either take out some trees by Grey's Creek on 4 or fill in part of the "pond" on 18 to make them more risk/reward and allow you to go with the driver from the up tees. Both are reachable for the better/longer players like Cody Maxwell or Brandt Garon or even the crazy accurate guys like Patin. But for people like us... hybrid/3i, 4i, 9i on those two holes.

Maybe, that’s what it is. I don’t mind 4 and usually birdie or make and easy par. 3w, 5w, low iron/wedge.
I do like Gstone though.

I don’t mind forced 3-shot par fives as long as the second shot is not a layup shot with a 8 iron or less . . . those kind of par fives annoy me. I want the third shot to be the short shot.
