I think until youth sports starts back people will play as much golf as they can.

People are enjoying playing golf as an activity more than I can remember. Without the constant game, practice, recital, party, family reunion, men are getting a bunch of rounds in.

I’m thinking about retiring soon so I can play as much as possible.

I think cost is going to be prohibitive. I've played 9 holes 3 times a week, at least since the shutdown started. I don't think I'll play that much when I have a full work load and it costs money.

I hope people stay interested. It’s good for the sport.

I mean, I'm not rich. I can't pay to play as much as I have been playing.

Once the shutdown ends, I'll go back to paying to play the amount I can financially afford to play.

That would suck. My course is wide open and I've played everyday since this nonsense started.

Of course, I usually play 5 days a week, but this has been nice.

Why?

Golf is basically built for “social distancing”.

The “lockdowns” are strictly political.
Is everyone in Sweden dead?

I’ve seen a lot of wives/girlfriends riding and kids out on the course. I hope it stays that way. Golf should be a family sport.

That’s a bit much...

Anyway why are all the courses in Dallas closed? Pretty much all of them in the Houston area are open just with certain restrictions.

I’m In Northern Virginia which has a pretty restrictive lockdown but courses are open - I’m a member of a private club and they said their rounds are 2x normal but obviously no indoor food or beverage cart - I had to stop by the golf academy / public course to get my daughters 3 wood fixed and the placed was jam picked - apparently people from Maryland and Pennsylvania are 1/3rd of the golfers there because courses are closed there...

My daughters play at the course once a week now - once it warms up they play 9 holes 4-6 times a week...

That all depends on if my company deems it necessary we actually report back to the office for work. My day starts at 7:30 now and I'm done by 3:30/4. The lack of a commute makes it much easier to walk 9 3/4 evenings during the week. On weekends, I'm still getting in 18-27. Both of my kids golf so it makes it much easier for me to get to the course too.
