Take the lob wedge out and add another hybrid or 7 wood. That 30 yard pitch is perfect for a 56*. Open up the face a bit if you want.
My home course has 60 bunkers on it and I took my lob wedge out of my bag and don't regret it one bit.

the only time I use mine is out of the sand, I'm pretty good with it in a bunker.
It can frick off if ever on grass.

Yep, that's all I used mine for too. But I was coming up short on almost all of my bunker shots so I just went back to opening up my 56 and it's actually been better for my game. Added a 4H to the bag because I had a 40 yard gap between clubs so it was better to fill that gap than have the 60 in the bag.

A buddy of mine has a laser engraving machine and that's definitely going on my 60 soon..

yards out on a par 5, hit it anywhere on the green and 2 putt for even par on the back , my best effort since my spine surgery 8 months ago.
99.9% someone like you would hit it on the green somewhere. Lob wedge brings in alot of variables even for pros

The only way I can hit mine is if I have a full 85yd shot and go after it hard. If I have say 60yds and try to take a little off, chunk city.

What's your most common miss? Once you figure that out, you can figure out a setup that focuses on elimination of that miss.
My personal issue is that I have about an equal distribution of two different misses. On a 35 yd shot, I am equally likely to hit 160 yards screaming blade shot, or a chunk that rolls
Neither one of them happens all that often, but it’s just enough that it stays in your head all the time

Lob wedges can frick of it’s not a bunker shot or in some fluffy green side rough.
Two of the greatest short game magicians ever (Seve and Trevino) never played anything higher lofted than a 56.

Same here. I’m not coming off a Lob Wedge. It’s all in or chunk city.

I stopped carrying a 60 degree

Today I drove the ball to about 10 feet from the green on #7 at The Lakes Pelican Point. Took out my 60° thinking no way I don’t put this right by the hole.
Know what I did? I hit the ground behind the ball and hit the ball about 3 feet. I walk to the ball to hit my 3rd stroke on this par 4 and the SAME frickING THING happens again. I finished pissed off and with a bogey.
