I'm gaming some Mizuno MP33s with a Titleist 913D driver, a Titleist 905F 3 wood, Cleveland HiBore 2i hybrid, and a Scotty Newport that I bought my dad for Father's day in the late 90s that he threw in the garage after he realized he couldn't putt with it.

Here’s some equipment talk for you, the BOA system on Ecco shoes is disappointing. Can’t seem to get them tight enough.

I ordered these back in late February when they were released unfortunately. I actually prefer the look of the t100 21 vs this latest update.

I haven't played Titleist irons since the DCI 962 model.

But the new 2023 ones look nice.

I need a 56 and 51. What's the best vs most reasonably priced around now?

I’ve always preferred Vokeys. Cleveland is solid as well for something a little cheaper.

That’s a steal. I have the JBs and absolutely love them. I would put them up against any OEM wedge

Do equipment changes really make a difference for most golfers? I understand someone who has ten year old clubs upgrading, but someone who plays regularly changing clubs a year or two after buying equipment, will it make that much of a difference?

I club/shaft fitting will make more of a difference. If it's just a 2 year gap, no, it's not making a big difference. Taylormades new driver is basically their Sim driver from 2ish years ago but instead of blue, it's red.

My newest driver replaced a 4-5 year old driver, and I get the same distance but it is definitely more forgiving. But for all I know the Calloway driver from 4 years ago was more forgiving than the Ping I was hitting at the time.

I'm like 2 different golfers.

I have always hit my irons sky high, but with the driver I tend to hit it very flat with little spin.

The Red brings my launch angle up and ball flight a tad higher.

The Red is a very stable shaft, I know Mickelson and Tom's both use it in their drivers.

I gotcha.. I'm the direct opposite on driver.. I get a ton of spin.. I now have the Paradym w/hzrdus black in X-Stiff and hitting the Callaway Chrome Soft X LS ball and it's made a difference from my LTDx..

My new PXG Gen 6 irons should be here on Tuesday. Plan to give the driver and irons a test drive on Friday.

Well? I’m debating Gen6 or the CB’s but Gen6 look a little clunky and are super strong lofted

At some point this year I will upgrading the irons after I get my swing to a better place. Any opinions for a 20 HC (currently taking lessons and improving that aspect) between the T300s and PXG 0211 XCOR2 irons? Currently playing an old set of Titleist DCI 981s.
