One thing that helped my game in the 10-30 yard range was not taking club (54 or 60) back too far at all (like a putt almost) and committing to the shot fully coming through the ball. I don’t ever flub one when I do this.

I use a 60 for the majority of shots around the greens. I'm able to a variety of shots with different trajectories and sound off different lies.

On rare occasions when I just need to bring something in lower or have it Chase out more I'll use my 54 or 48.

I use the 60 for most greenside bunker shots unless it's a really long one and I use the 54.

I play the original PM grind 60 and the PM 2 in my 54.

If you want the high soft shot it's just so much easier with the extra loft. Get a 60.

If you can't take a club out on the top of your bag for an extra wedge and that 45 is your set wedge consider 52 and 60 instead of 50 and 56.

Or maybe just swap the 56 out for a 58 and split the difference for least amount of tweaking.

My bag is D 3W (14) 4/5W Baffler (16.5) 4h (21) 5-PW with stronger lofts (23-44 I think Epic 5 Apex 19 6-pw) 48 54 60

Generally a pitching wedge but........

if super tightly short sided lob wedge or sand wedge
if downwind in strong wind and not having anything to have to chip over sometimes a six iron
if just a couple of feet off the fringe (or even on the fringe if the pin is on the opposite side of the green) four iron, basically any time I would like to use a putter but don't like how long I would have to make the putting stroke. I used to use a one iron for this until I left it around the green somewhere in late fall and didn't realize it until the next spring.

Sure.

On most shots your feet alignment and clubhead will tend to point at your target. When you are chipping your target is the pin or around it more than likely.

Let’s say your target is the pin- place your clubhead lined up at it. But when you are taking your stance(right handed), line up left of it by 10 or so feet. Never change the clubhead alignment. It always points at your target. The more left you line up the more the club head opens up naturally. The more open ur clubhead, the higher the ball will go with more spin. It’s great over bunkers and also in bunkers.

Lots of variables to think about when choosing a club to pitch or chip with. Any thing between you and the hole? How much green do you have to work with? Uphill/downhill? People who I play with and have a hard time getting the ball up on short shots I recommend a nine iron and bump and run shot if its possible. Take more of a putting stroke than a full swing type shot.

56 has plenty of loft. I carry a 60 as well but usually the 56 is plenty. Weight on front foot, hands in front of the ball, hold that angle all the way through. You’ll get the ball up plenty.

Check this video (I think he uses a 60)

. So, should I do this as well?

It was an experiment that worked out nicely. Bought a Scor wedge an eBay for $19

Im talking about shots around the green, anywhere from 10-30 yards out. I have a 45, 50, 56. My problem is getting that nice little soft loft and wondering if I should get a 60 or some type of lob wedge.

I just got a 60 lob wedge and I love it. Fortunately I went on Titleist Vokey website and went thru their online questionaire to recommend the right grind, lie, and bounce. Otherwise I might have bought something that did not fit my game and chunked it in the closet

Depends on what is in front of me. If I need to get it over a bunker and stop it quick. I use my 60. Anything else would be my PW around the green. I have a good touch and feel with it. I also carry a 52 and 48.
