There are four more Louisiana boys still playing in that thing as well as the ones you mentioned.

Got to see Greg in passing at MSY on his way there. He and Kyle kicked some arse.

Sorry for missing the other Louisiana guys.

The playoff lasted three holes and took 2 hours, 6 minutes to complete. Andrew Noto, of Metairie, La., and James Fuselier, of New Orleans, La., grabbed the final spot when the former converted an 8-foot birdie putt after a 147-yard, 8-iron approach to the par-4 seventh hole.

Speaking of Louisiana, seven of the 32 competitors remaining are from Louisiana. Noto, Fuselier, Williams (Ruston), Berthelot (Baton Rouge), Derek Busby (Ruston), John Faulk (Lake Charles) and Matt Nicholas (Lake Charles). “Our [Louisiana Golf Association Executive] director, Logan Ray, said yesterday when we finished up that something is in the water this week, and we're doing Louisiana proud,” said Fuselier. California leads with nine players.

One of Busby's opponents is Matt Parziale. He's the firefighter who qualified for the US Open last year. He might have won low amateur IIRC.

And his partner made the cut at the masters a couple years ago after winning the mid-am

And for those like me that didn’t put it together immediately, that is former LSU and Bills DT Kyle Williams he is playing with. Pretty exceptional

Damn, Fuselier and Noto lost 1 down. They were 2 up with 3 to play, and lost the last 3 holes.

Busby is a stud. Dude is a machine, never makes a big number

Other guys birdied five of the last seven holes. Tough to beat that.

Parziale tied as low AM. Solid player.
