Anyone put this in the bag yet? I desperately want to hit one as I think it would be great for my game. I take 3w off the tee regularly. Just curious as I know they were unavailable for a while. Any other majors going to create a mini driver?

I have the Original One from a few years back. No matter what setting I use, it takes all of my powers to not hook it off the course.

I have the original one mini driver and honestly I don’t use it unless I’m completely lost with driver.

It launches really low so doesn’t have the benefits of a 3 wood off the deck. Unless you’re using a mini driver strictly off the tee because you like the look I don’t think they really have a place.

There are a couple of holes at Oakwing where I would love this club to work. Driver gets me in trouble, and I would like to have something I am more confident in than 3-wood. I would not use it at any other course I play. Well, I cold see it at Tamahka as well.

I may look into this. I call my 3W my baby driver and only use it teed up low with a controlled swing. I prefer my 5W off the fairway.

Same here which is weird bc I usually love TM fairway woods.

I never felt the need for a club like that.

Wouldn't a stronger lofted 3 wood be a more versatile option ?

Even a Ping LST or a Triple Diamond Cally .

Probably not. That would be just as hard, or harder, to hit off the ground, and not as good off the tee. The OP said,

Conventional 3 woods are probably not a good slot for many, many golfers since drivers are so damn easy to hit now.

Correct. The smaller head suits my eye better. I have a couple guys I know that have them and they love them. Alternative to this BRNR i have my eye on Titleist TSR2+ fairway. The 300cc head on the BRNR attractive though. I would likely never hit this thing off of the deck.

My brother has this and I’ve hit it a few times. I haven’t missed with it. He has replaced his Stealth 2 with it.

Interesting they put a UST Proforce shaft in it.

Love it. I’ve had the sldr mini and now the brnr. I hit it about 265-275 and very straight. I spin drivers too much and usually don’t get much more out of a driver.

Actually considering one of these since my Original One is a hook machine.

I have a 2007 burner that I swap in and out with a newer PXG just because I love the feel and sound off the face of the burner. I don't hit it as far but man I love that club still. Y'all have me wanting to try the new one.

I have one but since I haven't played golf in 8 months I couldn't tell you how it plays. Christmas money from parents was burning hole in my pocket

Lol.

Was in PGA Superstore today, they only got 5 Burners and sold them in 2 days.

They told me that TM is not taking any more new orders on them.

If you find one, better buy it if you want one...
