Streamsong is the real answer.
Played the red course and the little par3 the week before Christmas. Awesome experience.

I interned there for Pulte Homes in 06. I enjoyed the hell out of The Claw at USF. We played a bunch of the Pulte community courses since they gave discounts to Pulte employees and they were all nice. TPC Tampa was underwhelming.

El Prez, did you meet Jonathon Hathorn at Pulte in Tampa ?

The claw isn’t bad for a quick after work/school round of golf.
Also, Westchase and Bloomingdales courses are always in decent shape and fairly cheep. Not the best layouts for both of them, but decent none the less

Great course about 2 hours outside of Tampa in Ocala.

It was private. Not sure if that changed. Worth a call and a trip. The quarry holes are amazing.
Streamsong is probably the best course you could play.
Enjoy.

Just scheduled myself for a tee time at 10:45 Sunday at Lake Jovita south

Black was fun. Stroked my ego because the greens were so huge. I could reach everything in regulation but then would 4-putt.
Great stay-and-play resort.

I only had enough time to play one course. From what I’ve heard about black, I’m not mad I didn’t play but would love to play it if I have the chance in the future.
I agree - resort was top notch. I really enjoyed myself.

I'll be there for 4 days at the end of the month. Report back on the conditions.
