Lake Jovita is is great shape. We played the North Course and they over seeded the fairways and tee boxes. It rained pretty hard here last night and we were able to go 90* avoiding the low spots.
The South Course was hosting a college golf tournament but looked in similar condition.

Thanks. You da man. How did you shoot? I haven't been out there in 5 years or so. I can't remember which course is which.

I personally played like absolute a-hole...but I’m working on some swing changes for longevity, apparently my back is not liking my 25y/o swing. Shot an even 80 but don’t think I hit more than 2 greens in regulation.
Both courses are good, the North is handicap harder than the south, but it is more wide open so more of a second shot course where the south is more placement with the tee shot.

Also if you are up there you might want to check out Saddlebrook, it’s one interstate exit away from Lake Jovita and they have two fun courses to play also.

Let me know what you end up playing. Going to Tampa for a wedding May 1st. Need a suggestion for April 30.

Even better...Go play Waterlefe. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Bradenton. it's one of my favorite in the Tampa general area.

Yeah it is, but it's not too bad. The worst carry is #1 and it's only like 150 yards
Nah, I'll be in my office chair most likely!

Streamsong. Terrific. The concession in Bradenton. PGA there in a couple of weeks. LSU won national championship there a few years back.

Not a biggie.
$109 right now. Hopefully the rates will be better after the normal April 15th rate drop.
