Dude, you are kinda melting. If what came out yesterday is true, the LIV employees and LIv players got completely sold out and screwed over by Yassir. Yes, he won, but those involved with LIv got fricked
That isn’t really a controversial take at all
All of the above is a big IF though like I said earlier

Yasir also mentioned LIV continuing on the original CNBC presser. Everything about this is odd.

You’ve been on a 2 year melt, my friend.

Those players have contracts. And are getting paid. I think they will be just fine. You are so desperate for a win.
You were wrong about what would happen. You look silly and the entire board witnessed it. It’s no biggie. Just take your L and say “huh, I was wrong”.

I was wrong? The reports are saying LIV will be disbanded, players significantly fined, and equity for players that remained loyal
You can bury your head and pretend those reports aren’t out there, but it doesn’t make those reports go away. They exist, they are very real
I’m sorry that seems to be triggering you, but there is a chance the pga players “win” here. . You should be happy right? I mean your pga best buddy and all…

Classic projection.

All for that and have never ever said otherwise. Strange comment. Though you “pivot” more than the wind changes. So no surprise.

After you read all these reports, try using your head.
Do you really think Jay Monahans next move is to take all the money LIV gave to brooks, Bryson, DJ, etc. and give it to Grayson Murray?
Lol

From who? The same fawning golf media that has carried water for the PGA?
The PGA better hope this thing goes through the regulatory hurdles or it's over for them. Now that the rank and file know how much cabbage is available to switch to LIV, coupled with the knowledge that Jay Monahan is an abject scumbag, the floodgates will open. Rahm will be gone in a heartbeat. You think that one major winner whose wife allegedly talked him into turning down $200 big ones to switch to LIV (cough, JT, cough) is going to refuse a second time?

Well since LIV locked down their 2024 schedule yesterday and are in the final touches of finalizing 2025 your assertion is BS.
When Rahm and Hovland announce they are moving to LIV in a few weeks you will realize that Monahan is just feeding BS to the public to try and get the guys with clubs and bats from killing Jim.

LIV side has been more reliable and has more money. Probably slanted towards them.

No one knows including Yassir and JM at this point. Y’all need to pump the brakes and take a vacation……or get job.

Why would rahm or hovland go to LIV at this point? I’m genuinely curious.

Same reason Cam Smith bolted.
He has a guaranteed spot in a majors for 5 years after the Masters win + money and an equity stake in a team.
Sounds like he can still play Ryder cup now.
Not saying it will happen but the reasons for Rahm are clear.

I get all that, but with the Saudis invested in the PGA he’s going to get absurd money staying, and if he goes he’s still working for monahan. All this assumes Jay doesn’t just end the league as well.

Oh all the ‘news’ coming out right now is a CF.
However if he does bolt it should tell you which news is true as he would be getting paid by Yasir.
Not so much if he doesn’t leave as it just status quo through the year.
I still say the team aspect is here to stay as well as an international calendar, call it whatever you want.

Also reasonable to assume this move is being rumored/floated to drum up excitement for the next LIV event that happens to be in Spain.
Or perhaps Rahm wants to play in Spain
It’s all a CF

They should put Tiger over it.

My only hope is the guys who stayed on the PGA tour get rewarded for their loyalty
Why should they get paid? They didn’t have face any potential consequences for staying? They didn’t have to answer stupid questions from the media about “would you take money from Putin?”
Those guys claimed to stay because of integrity and legacy. They don’t need the money.
