Comparing the top 25% PGA tour data to LIVs overall SOF would make more sense

The top 75% of LIV is the same as the top 50% of the Deere this week.

You whine and bitch this is all about the product and you don't like it as a golf fan. Only the top players get shown in a Tour event (in the 35% or so where they actually show golf of course) whereas you see pretty much all of the LIV players so if we want to take yourself as an example, you should be net neutral on LIV because the product that you see is pretty much exactly the same.

Move your goals posts now that your original arguement doesn't work. I'll give you time.

The Deere field is terrible. Tour needs to incorporate off weeks

The Scottish Open field is incredible though.

The Deere field will be possibly the worst field on the pga tour this season besides Puerto Rico and puntacana

I think you’re confusing the RBC with a different tournament.

I am not. Outside of 5 players the field was atrocious. Worse than the Deere.

Winner for the RBC got 58 points.

Winner of the Deere gets 24…

(I was also thinking of the Heritage, not the Canadian)

So what happens if Abraham Ancer (or others) finish in the top 10 of DP World Tour?

Other than the DP World Tour events that are co-sanctioned with the PGA (Scottish Open, Barbasol, Barracuda), they haven't announced a "LIV ban".

Says the PGA Tour supporter who celebrates their "alliance" with the DP World Tour, that is "Dubai, United Arab Emirates".

Sky Sports News understands that fines are set to double for those playing in each future conflicting tournament, as well as bans from the events themselves.

I think this pretty much seals the deal that LIV will not get OWGR. But I guess it’s still possible.

That's only 7 or 8 out of 44 events on DP world tour. There is no "ban" for all of their events.
"conflicting tournaments" would only be the weekend that a player chooses to play in LIV event vs DP World Tour event (i.e. Ancer playing in Portland this weekend vs Irish Open). LIV players will have no problem paying the DP Tour fines.

But also, you didn't answer the question. I assume PGA Tour would still ban Ancer/other LIV players even if they finish in top 10 of DP World Tour rankings.

On the other side of this, 3 players from LIV London are playing in the Irish Open this weekend & not LIV Portland. They are not banned.

Oliver Bekker, Finished 7th in London
Pablo Larrazabal, 13th
Oliver Fisher, 39

LIV would have to play 72 hole events to get OWGR

False

Go read any of the other 20+ pg threads with lsupride. There are other 54 hole tournaments that are awarded OWGR points. try again

Thanks. That’s what I get for listening to Brandel.

Does the champion tour receive points?

Im seemingly the only one that wants to actually operate using the facts and/or most current information. Lots of just wrong info floating around.
