So if you play on PGA you can go to LIV. If on LIV you can not go to PGA.

So, whomever it is the top College Golfer comes out and plays with LIV for 100 million signing bonus. After 5 years wants to play on PGA. He can not based off of Jay's comments. Unless he is not suspended. Maybe he can. I have no idea.

So now PGA got the message and wants to payor Money.

Phil says your welcome. But Phil also wants (I agree with Him) his royalties for using his likeness and golf shots the PGA uses in commercials and other events.

This and the guys that resigned will be fascinating to see. The Am from Spain hasn't ever been a part of the Tour, how can they hold him out since he went to LIV first?

I think we can all agree that Jay fricked this up bigtime. He should be fired for incompetence at this point.

PGA should have just made the PGA tour better for the golfers. But no first reaction is to call LIV dirty blood money tour.

Now Phil left tour because he lost 40 million gambling. So what who cares what Phil does for fun. It's his money. I never blamed Tiger for being a sorry price of shite husband for screwing every skank he came across. More power to him. His wife took more than half. Lots more than Phil lost gambling.

Enjoy the golfers who left and support your LIV tour.

What are you complaining about?

If he never officially joins the tour, I don't see how they can "suspend" him. What I'm not sure about is if the PGA Tour has said anyone who plays one LIV event can never again play on the PGA Tour. I don't see it happening soon, but eventually someone mid-level is going to want to come back.

The college golfers were never affiliated with the PGA so there may be a door there.

Those who left knew they would be permanently suspended, but they were well paid by LIV. Jay pretty much said they are not coming back.

PGA owns all those rights, Phil knew this when he signed onto the PGA. He's been pushing to get them back, but PGA owes him nothing

Not the ones who resigned. Still wait and see with them. They aren't technically suspended either

True, but the problem there is not with the commissioner. Players like Thomas, Rory, Speith and others turned down 9 figures to stay loyal to PGA. They would have a problem with the guys who left being able to cash in and come back.

Still just not much of an issue either way. These LIV golfers, for the most part, want no part of the PGA. They want the majors and they will fight for them. Jay Monahan wants to throw, they can't come back, out there like a hand grenade. Pure propaganda, like somehow they are winning this battle.

The truth is LIV players went on to greener pastures long ago. They have 14 tourneys and their own championship and they still have much more prize money available than the PGA. The rest of this stuff is Monahan basically trying to keep the rest of the troops at home.

After the playoffs, it actually will be quite easy to keep score. Who's leaving?

Very likely.

Sounds like a lot of tour players didn't like the LIV lawsuit and took it personally.

The LIV players should cancel the suit and let the temperature lower.

Why should the LIV players be the only ones that have to make concessions? Outside of Phil and a couple other old guys, none of the LIV guys have made any personal remarks about the Tour or any of its members.

The Tour and its leadership can't say the same

The antitrust lawsuit is all about LIV carving out its place in the golf world. Starting with world ranking points to get to the majors. The PGA is being accused of collusion with other entities up to their neck. I doubt LIV is too worried about how angry Alfalfa and JT are.

It makes sense that someone who stopped participating in one tour in favor of another would not be welcomed back by the tour they left while they are still under contract. I think that after player contracts are up they will be able to apply for reinstatement or qualify to get back on. I doubt that happens with the big guys with huge payouts because they’ll either retire or re-sign with LIV. Some of the young guys won’t likely get anything from LIV to come back, and so their best bet is with The PGA.

The majors can do what they want on qualifying so if they decide they don’t want to use the OWGR system they can change it.

Where does the lawsuits stop ?

The PGA of America that runs the PGA Championship currently says it won't allow LIV players to play.

What if the Masters says no.

They are going to sue these two entities ?

LIV has the cash, they should build their own product from the ground up if it's all about competition.

Build their own development tour and promote junior golf etc...

So they should develop their own majors too.

But the Tour shouldn't have to?
