Bit of a drive but Quintero is worth it

Gonna be hotter than hell. Play We-Ko-Pa, TPC Stadium, and Troon North. Summer rates will be $85-$150 or so.

Buddy that lives out there said we’ll be good with morning tee times. Not accurate?

Not playing more than 18 in a single day.

Played it, I wouldn't recommend going to somewhere where you are going to get your dick beat in all day, especially for a bachelor party. It's literally fairway or lost ball, and it's yard from Scottsdale.

To the OP, We-Ko-Pa is where you want to play. The Coore Crenshaw Course.

Edit: If you are playing multiple rounds, I'd skip Troon. It's on the higher end of price and it's just ok compared to other options.

Tpc stadium and greyhawk

Stadium was actually really fun to me.

Recommend Grayhawk and TPC Stadium also. Always like Camelback and Legends. Off season about $130.

We played 5 rounds on my bachelor party there and all were really nice courses, but I'd rank them...

1. We-ko-pa Cholla
2. We-ko-pa Saguero
3. Grayhawk Raptor
4. Troon North Pinnacle
5. Troon North Monument

Also, anyone who tells you it's a dry heat and it won't be bad is lying. We had the hottest labor day weekend in Scottsdale history and it was unbelievably hot. Hotter than any humid heat I've experienced in Louisiana.

I just got back from a bachelor party there and we played these three

It was awesome playing TPC with the stadium up but it was the most expensive round of golf I’ve ever played.

We-ko-pa was cool and troon is outstanding. Really tough course

Our group consensus was Troon was the best course but hardest, TPC was best experience obviously and We-ko-pa was nice but 3rd

Rancho Manana and Lookout Mountain were a good time for us.

Both at We Ko Pa, Quintero, Troon Pinnacle, Boulders South, both at Grayhawk, TPC Stadium and Kierland. Played all these over the last 2 years.

Troon Pinnacle conditions were
absolutely absurd. So, so pure from tee to green. (Pictured below)

We Ko Pa and Quintero both have stunning views and are great courses.

Boulders South was really good too. Tough course with many blind shots. Luckily we played with a local who helped us out on almost every hole.

Both courses at Grayhawk are good too, but I do think they are a little proud of themselves. (Talon pictured below)

TPC Stadium was a little underwhelming for me, but the greens were incredibly difficult which made it fun.

I mean August/SEP is literally peak heat.

Hoping June in the mornings is fine. We will likely start every round between 8-9 and be done before peak heat at 2-5pm.

Hoping that's the case at least.

You should be fine as far as the heat goes. First two weeks of June typically have cooler mornings and it still cools down a bit once night hits.

Almost like clockwork on June 14/15 it just starts staying hot except for like 5am-645am.

It will get light early on so you can actually play in really nice weather the whole round if you tee off around 640-730, but that likely won’t happen w bachelor party unless its the first day.

Courses to play depend on what your budget is, how nice a course you wanna play, and how much you’re willing to drive from where you stay.

Mountain Shadows is a blast if you aren’t all serious golfers. Executive course

We-Ko-Pa is a must. ~$150 and was my favorite course. Reasonable drink prices as well. I played Cholla and am Playing Saguaro this weekend.

If you want a quick round, Mountain Shadows par 3 course was a lot of fun.

I heard great things going in, but Boulder had us pay full price and the greens were in really bad shape. As said above it was also pretty difficult.

Greyhawk was awesome and I think their summer rates are crazy low.

We didn’t get to play Mountain Shadows which was a bummer but I would put it on your list

Yeah, you should be fine. Even in on Labor Day weekend the mornings were nice. It just got to us on the second 18 when we'd play 36

interested as well, as we're making a trip later in the year.

where are y'all staying? so many resorts to choose from, but i haven't been there to play golf before, so kind of clueless.

Grabbed a massive VRBO compound pretty close to old town Scottsdale.

Mountain shadows is a blast even with serious golfers. Great course to gamble, they make it around with drinks quite a bit. Even have “party carts” 4 seaters. Which works great since it’s a par 3 course. Really lots of fun and was in great shape when we played.
