Played Beaver Saturday, greens were struggling

Reunion CC in Madison just punched on June 3 and play opened this past weekend.
Giant f’ing holes. Basically putting on sand. Should be healed up just in time for when it’s so hot you don’t want to play golf anyways.

Played Webb late Monday afternoon and the greens weren't awful. At least they rolled smooth, relatively speaking for Webb.
The greens and fairways were HARD.
I hit about half a 9-iron from 110 out on #6. The ball bounced short of the green, rolled through the green, and ended up about 15 yards behind the green.
On the other hand, on 4 and 7 I hit the longest drives I've ever hit on those holes. Lots of roll--yet there is enough grass to have a good lie once the all stops rolling.

Webb is coming along nicely...fairways are the best I've seen in a long time...now that the heat is killing the poanna out the greens are coming around nicely as well...

I played at copper last weekend. The greens will be perfect in a few weeks. I could not figure them out during my round

Beaver should have just punched but looks like they punched and verticut. Ended up killing the greens in spots doing so
Really frustrating considering how good they were april.
Probably wait a month to hit it again
Copper has great greens right now outside of few small spots. Hopefully the punch8ng will make them more receptive
Clark is still real nice to putt

Beaver’s greens were overall decent. Slow but true. They had to have been if I managed to putt well out there.
They’ve got a bigger problem right now with the sand flies or whatever the hell is swarming in every bunker.

They come every year. They don’t sting.
