0211 drivers $119, etc.

Picked up a Gen4 hybrid for $139, just because. Not a fanboy at all but worth a go. I like Ping hybrids so I figure this is probably close. Have my eye on a putter as well, because you cant have too many

What happened?

Trying to take market share with price war?

I have some irons, but I have other brands as well.

That's insanity. Im not a huge PXG fan, but at this price, it would be hard not to give it a try.

Lol,

PXG doesn't need me pumping them up.

I will just say this, I just got a new TSR 2 16 * fairway and a 0211 3 wood.

Using the same AV Tensi Blue shaft in both.

The TSR is going back to the store...

Especially with the Tensi Blue shaft in it...

Just ordered a 22 degree hybrid. At that price why wouldn’t you try it.

You don’t swing hard enough to spin it

That makes zero sense since I use the same shaft and the PXG has 1 degree less loft.

I swing 95 consistently with my driver, 7 iron 170 and I am far from old and decrepit.

And plus it's a fairway wood...

Which of their stock shafts would be best for 85mph swing speed?

Thanks.

Driver SS is 95 and you hit your 7 iron 170 yards. That seems 'off'

Any comparison to the G425? been looking at pulling the trigger on one, but the 0811XF is only $189. Anyone hit one of these before?

Not really when you consider lofts, angle of attack, etc..

I fell that I swing harder at my irons than my driver which I am more concerned with accuracy.

I would assume you have super juicy irons. Which is fine and alot if older guys require this. But the SS with the driver doesn’t correlate to hitting a 7 iron 170.

Never understood the love for it. I’m sure they’ve made some decent stuff but i wouldn’t even play their stuff if it was free.

I'd have to agree with you on this...

But not this...

If you look at the site the clubs deeply discounted like the 0211 hybrid at 89 bucks you can only get in a 25 or 28 degree..

All they are doing is dumping stale inventory that needs to go..

Plus, that kinda of a price would bring in the guys that are apprehensive about the brand or brand loyal elswhere like a previous poster said " At that price , I'll give them a shot" and that's probably what they are hoping for..

Slow moving inventory on sale in the last qtr of the year isn't earth shattering stuff here either.. That happens all across the board

Don't know what to tell yall.

My PXG 0311P 7 iron has 30 degrees of loft and 1/2 inch long.

I'm 6'4 with a long arc and steep angle with irons.

I can swing my driver faster if needed, but I rather play in control and play from the short grass.

Distance off the tee has never been a issue for me.

Of course all of this doesn't matter when talking about the TSR faraway wood which was questioned. I can hit it high and good distance.

I really like the way the PXG performed better since I hit a lot of 3 woods off the tee.
