What did I get myself into? Never played it before and my golf baws keep telling me it’s a bear.

Love the course - best in that area - call and make sure they have not punched

I didnt think it was that bad. Very close to the beach so it could be pretty windy. Seems like I remember lots of pampas grass. Peninsula treated me worse than Kiva.

I am jealous. One of my favorite tracks. Lots of character each hole. Not too tight so you can play your driver on most holes. Beware of the trees; they may be short but they eat balls. You are in for a treat!!

It's a really fun course. The only course down there that makes you think you're at the beach while you are playing.

Unless you are a masochist or low single digit, don't tip it out. The lines you have to take from back there are really cool, but it'd be a very long day.

It's the beach version of The Bluffs, to me, but obviously much better kept.

It’s not all that bad. Fairways are pretty wide but there are some deceptive shots.

They punched two weeks ago. Greens are slow coming back.

I found I was pretty consistently short, wind I guess. Finally adjusted about the 10th hole and was at least representative from there on. Rough was a mean mother.

Gulf Shores Country Club is where it's at. Immaculately kept, never very crowded and half the cost of the others. Best kept secret in the Redneck Riviera.

I’ve played gulf shores golf club many times. Huge fan of the place, but couldn’t pass the chance to play Kiva. If we play again on Saturday it will be at the golf club.

My dilemma next Friday- playing with a guy that doesn't have near as much interest in golf as I do, so he is not keen on paying for Kiva over GSGC. I think I am going to book the earliest time out for Kiva the next morning to get it in while I am over there.

Peninsula is much easier than Kiva IMO. I have played both 5-6 times and I’m consistently 5-7 shots better at Peninsula. But, I’ve never played Kiva in non windy conditions so that may explain the scores.

At Kiva, you must play conservative and put the ball in play., but if you want to score, you’ll have to hit driver on a lot of the holes to get a shorter iron in your hands.

Kiva was awesome. Course was a little dry but in good shape. I never could get a read on the greens and 3 putted everywhere. Course is very gettable if you can putt and the wind is down.

That being said I shot a 92

My username has nothing to do with my golf game trust me

I need to find a coach / take a lesson. I’ve coached myself to this point. So you can see how that’s going...

Was kidding...the best thing you can do is go get some lessons from a good instructor.
