LIV bros in shambles at the impending collapse, and anyone with a name that’s worth a damn leaving.

I'm excited to hate watch Fat Reed. Every sport needs villains.

I've always enjoyed P Reed's game. The statement he put out on his qualifications to return and also play on DPWT are a huge flex. Dude can ball. He has his enemies I supposed but for whatever reason it never got to me.

Moved from other thread:
Does anyone have as much of a watershed “I’m not the main character” moment like Rahm
That dude clearly went thinking “when I leave it will all crumble at the PGA and they will be forced to combine”
I have to imagine that basque blood has him wanting to strangle who ever advised him

The guy made millions playing for a dumb quasi golf tour, and wants back in. Says something about LIV.

The next question is has his bitch wife asked his parents to come to any of the PGA events?

I'm not sure, but i think it was a rash decision and probably realized how important playing with the best is.
These defections have to mean that LIV is clearly bailing on the idea of paying absurd money to jumpstart the league.

Just sucks that LIV forced the PGA to get PE involved. Now LIV will probably go away and PGA will be stuck with the PE forever.

LIV saying players will have the opportunity to play golf when and where they want is so rich. Remind me again who has a mandatory tournament schedule?
Posted on 1/28/26 at 12:58 pm to RedHawk
Mandatory and if you want to play the majors it’s 19 events with zero flexibility compared to the PGA tour’s 15 minimum events that you can completely pick your own adventure.

Does anyone know the real story behind the family estrangement?
Posted on 1/28/26 at 1:07 pm to JohnnyKilroy
I was around P Reed a decent amount growing up at U club
His family dynamic was a disaster. Not sure if either side is to blame. They all seems crazy from the outside
He was like 13-15 ish and I witnessed multiple episodes of them just dog cussing each other in the parking lot

“We understand that we’re crumbling so here is a message for you to think that we’re not upset”.

Guess the new contract offer was too much of a pay cut.
Dude clearly still has a little game left in him though.

Monohan handled this hostile takeover pretty well considering what he was up against.
