Ecco Biom G2 are comfortable very nice so far.
I am trying Sketchers for next purchase.
I keep a couple FJ dry joy tours because my course are former swamps so it stays wet.

FJ makes a similar style shoe. I find them pretty comfortable.
The last shoe I bought was the FJ Pro. They are super stable to the point you feel like you are standing on plywood. Get uncomfortable before 18 holes.
My opinion is Addidas makes the best golf shoes. Super comfortable and have never hurt my feet. I'll be going back to the them on my next pair.

I'd had Nike, Adidas, Puma, and ECCO's before finally buying some FootJoys. I'll never go back.
I've got a pair of the Hyperflex II and a pair of the Pro/SL Boa.

Eccos and FootJoy are probably the two best. They both run a bit large though so be careful when ordering online. The exact models I prefer are the Ecco Biom and Footjoy Hyperflex or Icon Black. I would think all models are solid though. I like the wide options for both of these brands as well.
Nikes are great but quality is definitely an issue. My lunar control 4s were very comfortable but only lasted about 8 months.

Bought some Ecco Tour Wingtips and love the way they look, but I don’t think I could walk 18 without blisters.
Any recommendations for a comfortable and classic looking shoe?
I have a pair of brown Ecco Bioms and they are incredible and then bought a pair of old Vivobarefoot and haven't worn the Eccos since. They are amazingly comfortable but I don't think they make them anymore, or at least they are tough to find now.

nothing beats bare feet on a thick closely manicured course...

Just bought the Nike Roshe G's and they are the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever warn. Feels just like a running shoe.

FJ Boa style. Fair price and multiple colors. The main thing is they’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn out on the course.

Haven't played in them yet, but I'm rolling with these this year.

Used to have some Skechers sneakers and they were awesome. Skechers changed the insole, and I just don't like it.
I bought a pair of Adidas golf shoes last fall, and I love 'em. They're a 'sneakers style' and I've walked several rounds without any issues. They provide a lot of grip as well.

My FJ icons were terrible
they were too narrow, and I don't have a wide foot
pretty sure they come in several different widths, i know they did when I bought mine at least. I have the opposite problem. I have a narrow foot so it's tough for me to find shoes that fit right and FJ icons were one of the few that offered different widths when I was purchasing
